Kim Sun Jung Visiting Researcher
Introduction
Sun-Jung Kim, Ph.D., earned her doctoral degree in Adult Health Nursing from the Seoul National University College of Nursing. Her research focuses on the fields of gerontological nursing and end-of-life care. In particular, she explores the life trajectories of older adults, their experiences with end-of-life care, and the complex interactions between families and healthcare providers to gain a profound understanding of human experiences and their underlying meanings.
With a deep interest in qualitative research methods that allow for the thorough exploration of human narratives, Dr. Kim aims to conduct research that amplifies the voices of those in clinical settings. Her ultimate goal is to establish evidence-based practices applicable to both clinical and nursing education environments, thereby contributing to the overall improvement of the quality of nursing care.
