Researcher Sun Jung Kim(PhD) conducts research in the fields of gerontological nursing and end-of-life care. Her work focuses on nurses’ competence and experiences in end-of-life care; older adults’ life trajectories and experiences of end-of-life care; and the interactions among patients, family members, and healthcare professionals. She is particularly interested in gaining an in-depth understanding of human experiences and the meanings individuals ascribe to them. With a strong interest in qualitative research methods, she aims to conduct research that amplifies voices from clinical practice.
